Music

.

A simple tune holds the meaning behind

The rhyming words for one to find

They take you away from the world around

And tell it all through the art of sound.

They are the stories that need to be told,

They are the hands one needs to hold

They are life from a different perspective,

But aren't completely unreflective.

People connect to the adventures within

And understand the feelings of sin

To learn and discover is all we may seek,

To have the courage to stand up and speak.

They are the stories of how one almost fell,

But got right back up because they knew too well

Than to leave the people they cared for behind

To make them suffer while they sought to find

The reason they never wanted to talk about

Why they were sad and filled with doubt.

This is what music means to me

It's more than just the words you see.

It's the feelings someone needs to express

Then leave room for others to listen and process.
