Music

I feel the beat Rushing through my veins Shaking my bones. It pulses Living and strong. I feel myself open up A weight lifted off my chest Like a beautifully decorated circus elephant Getting off a little yellow ball With pretty red stars. The bass dropped And my soul started floating. I was fifteen feet off the ground and I wasn't coming down. I absorbed the guitar chords And the drum beat And the singers voice I felt the music. I was the music. Then, It ended.
