Music

Music

The sound I could never live without

A melody playing in my head

A song that comforts me when in doubt

Yet somehow it always lets me look ahead

Music lets me escape into a new place

Lets me forget the trouble and the pain

Music comes from no country or race

But instead from the heart and the brain

Every song has its own story

A story from the past

Either from a time of glory

Or when everyone felt downcast

Everyone enjoys different music

But still people can connect through the sound

They can make it something therapeutic

Or something that will make them go round and round

It’s something I can enjoy no matter the language

Something I can dance to no matter the rhythm

It will surely reduce the anguish

 And also grant inner freedom
