Music

I feel the power in my veins,

Singing with great feeling

as the verses release my pains,

and I feel my soul slowly healing.

Then I can feel my high coming down

and I look around me once again.

I thought I saw something, a crown,

but it was nothing but the rain.

Then I hear a beat

and I listen closely,

for I must meet

it mostly.

I need to remain calm,

this song, my only balm.
