Music

No words.

Obscured light through the back window

Shining softly from headlights.

The warmth of you,

of your smile,

fills me in the darkness.

My head against your chest,

I listen to the music of your heartbeat

and our breathing in tandem.

The look in your eyes envelopes me,

and the world melts away.

It's just us here, alone,

together.

Floating safely through the night sky.
