Music

Dear love,

Its easy to speak to you

for to you I am speaking to the world

an endless unchanging whirl

I never wish you to leave my view

You support my obsessional muse

my language which I speak better than words

a language i can speak in surds

yet still--with tune.

One may say that melody

is the language of emotion

To I, you eternally listen

to my primary language

one which, you speak. you know. you understand.

and with your words

speak back

Others smile and proclaim

"good job! great work!"

But silently you weep and smile

for you knew what it is I say

To me you play a euphony

Together a grand duet

Our sumptuous minuet

Playing in perfect unity

I speak to you better than any other

with words or hymn alike

whatever piece we have written

we play together

in harmony
