Music

Some say music is a form of poetry

But poetry is not a form of music

Thoughts on a pen and paper floating free

Same patterns and rhyme schemes

Contained with similes and metaphors

Meant for the listener to think and dream

This type of poety is strong

Knowledge is obtained and lessons are learned

Helped realize things right from wrong

Sounds real good because of the beat

Amplifies the words written on the page

The way these writers mix and match their words is real neat

This type of poetry is therapeutic

You may not say its poetry

It is but I just call it music
