Music Is All I Need

Say that I am stranded or lost,

Do you know what I would need?

I would need music no matter the price or the cost.

Yes, music is that important to me indeed.

You must wonder, “Why music,”

“Why not a survival tool?”

Because music is great and everyone can use it,

And because music can make anyone feel cool.

I feel that music is like a universal connection,

A language that all of us speak.

Music honestly gives me mental protection

From all of the negative thoughts and feelings that may sneak.

Music has been said to save lives,

It has been said to make dreams come true.

Music to me is like pollen to the bees in the hives.

Music makes me want to jive when I was feeling blue.

So, yes, music is the one thing I need.

I would need music no matter the price or the cost.

Music is that important to me indeed.

But with music, I’ll never be stranded or lost.
