Music Box

Your journey begins with a wail and a cry And continues as your hourglass turns Yours and life's tunes intertwined til the end As reality becomes your own music box Just like a novel a story or tale Music has a beginning middle and end As well as our lives' journey that comes to a halt Which finishes as our lyrics fall into place Life's song plays as the hourglass empties The lullaby so sweet echoes alone Silencing your heartbeat as it rocks to sleep Ending your reality as the music fades
