Music eases me
"Why do you always listen to music, are you even listening to me?
That's what they all say as I increase my volume sitting back listening to my daily pop, Olivia Rodrigo or podcasts about love while they yap about their daily life in my ear. All I can do is close my eyes and turn the other way.
I'm all alone chilling in class with nothing to do. All I can do is put on my headphones and fall asleep without a peep as the music eases me.
I choose not to listen to what others say but the world being played in my head.
Music makes me feel the beat and get back into the rhythm as I put my favorite songs on loop so I can feel the sense of floating in space once again.
I believe music has a way of finding you, even in the darkest of places.
