The Music Inside of Me

To myself, I am the sound of music.

Whether it’s the sound of a classic piece by Beethoven, or the sound of rock and roll

There is no end to music, and that is exactly who I am

There’s songs of sadness, and of delight

With hidden meanings in between

Who I am, is what music is

It’s what you feel inside, and cannot decide where your mind will take you

There is no simplicity to who I actually am, but the simplicity in music can explain it

The songs of music, the lyrics of music, and the rhythms of music, all contribute to my soul

The image you form when hearing a song, is a piece of me

When I play songs, I feel parts of me come together

My form, is of music, whether it’s played by the violin, or sung with an alluring voice

The delicate strings of a harp, and the powerful beats of a drum, are all a part of me

When I think of myself, I especially think of the strums of guitar playing

Each chord played, is like a new idea inside of me

Every chord is constructed of single, different notes, to form one beautiful sound

It’s complicated, but turns out to be wonderful

I’d like to think that, that, is who I am

A person who is complicated, but can be beautiful

Not in ways of physicality, but of ways of my soul

My soul constructed of all of these sounds, all forming to become me

Me, the sounds of music

Who would’ve thought, such a simplicity, turns out to be me

A complicated human, but constructed on the sounds made so effortlessly
