Music inspires me to rock and to roll

I listen to blues, to jazz, and to soul.

There’s folk tunes and funk, and disco, too.

Music inspires me.  How about you?

All of the genres help me stay calm,

Even the country is sometimes a balm.

No matter how stressed my life has become

Music inspires me to sing and to hum.

Yes, music inspires me.  It’s good for my soul.

To help me stay centered, that’s music’s role.
