Music Makes Me

Music tells a story of my life anytime or anywhere Music cheers me up when i am sad Music cheers me up when i am mad Music even cheers me up when i am upset and blue So who can tell me how to move my feet To all these different types of beats That is why music makes me When i was a young girl, in my ponytails i smile While i listen to Hip-Hop, R and B, Jazz Classical Music, and Pop That's why i move my feet to any beat While i sing and dance to Smokey, The Temptations, and Al Green I feel the music all over me That's why music makes me I went to band one day thinking that music could never be classic But when I shut-up and listened the music began to come easily Band is a piece of art that no one on this earth can take away from me When I saw my beautiful band director (Mrs. Michelle McDonald) I pictured her as if she was a Hip-Hop, Blues, or R and B singer That's why music makes me Music effects me in many ways When I eat i can make music from the crunch of my potato chips or the gulps of my kool-aid I think of what a piece I can make from just food That's why music affect me That is also why music makes me
