Music Mentor

find me in my darkest hour

pull me up out of the ground

fill my ears with wonder

make my mouth go round

i find my fingers tapping

my foot stomps to the beat

music’s all around me

my heart just wants to sing

i’ve learned that in the silence

the words speak loud and true

in the rhythm and the measures

i find my voice i do

takes me through the motion

makes me wanna dance

thank you for your devotion

you helped me build my stance
