Music to my ears


I'd bring a small little music box that only has your music in it

Because you make music

I'd have it all alone to myself when I can listen to the lyrics about your exes because I'm still in your life, so you don't want to jinx it

You say to my I'll jinx our relationship if I let the lyrics in my head turn into lyrics in a song

Because the song that plays in my head for you can only be played for me until you figure out what you want

I know what I want 

I've known what I wanted as soon as you so gently asked me on a date in the back of that classroom

I know what I want 

I want you to tell stories about me to Tre, and Crimson as if these stories were embossed inside of that glouiour little demonic mind

You say to me, why wouldn't you just take me with you

Baby I condition that if I am around anyone that I love they always seem to hate me, no matter the situation

I'd slowly turn into the wind drifting away and you would teach yourself not to chase

Honey I am not your book of secrets that you fill up with the
