As The Music Plays

Tue, 08/27/2013 - 19:16 -- Serina

As the music plays,
you're standing there
until the song slows its rythem.
He steps forward
and whisks you away.
Your arms entwined with his,
dancing with each other,
as the music plays.
To be in each others embrace is bliss.
It's so close
that you can his heartbeat
against your chest
as the music plays.
It gets slower
and softer
then the music disappears.
As it does he whispers in your ear
a "goodbye for now"
and he disappears into thin air
until the music plays again.
