The Music of the Spheres

I heard it first in a riddle, and second in a song

Third in a movie, and forth in a sob

I heard it fifth when my mother pointed to a clock

And sixth when I realized a stomach could drop

I heard it seventh in a car, driving who knows where

Eighth on a birthday, with flames in the air

I heard it ninth when I clicked the final submit

And here is the tenth

On an island alone, while earth spins on

But I, at last, will stop to hear the song

If time is the ending, it’s a beautiful one

But for a moment, I’ll stop its run
