Music Therapy

I cannot see For I am blind. I will not tell you What’s on my mind. Touch me at all And I pull away. I’d rather be alone, Every hour, every day. One person noticed, One person saw. She came over And played her guitar. Even though My vision lacked. I followed noise, I could track. The guitar is something I could stand to touch. The vibrations from it Were not too much. When I thought All was lost. I thought my life, I should toss. But she brought me Out of my shell. And my success story Is one to tell.
