The Music of Words
I close my eyes,
And I lose myself to the music of words.
Twinnkling melodies fill my ears
As visions of fantasy surround me,
And my breathe is caught in my throat
While my eyes tear in awe and disbelief.
I close my eyes,
And I lose myself to the music of words.
I don't hear the loud chatter that sits next to me.
I don't see the crowns of hair that once blocked my view.
I don't smell the replusive odor that tries to invade my nostrils.
I don't mind the isloation of individualism as the music of words overwhelm my being.
Because I close my eyes,
And I lose myself to the music of words.
