The Musical Abyss

It grabs your attention, tugging at your ear, begging you to listen in That sound? What is that sound? That grabs you by the heart and leads you by the soul, Pulling you into its full embrace You close your eyes and sink deeper into the abyss You can never win against the driving pulsation of the rhythm, Which hides itself deep inside the whimsical whirl of the melody You cannot help but move and sway You cannot turn yourself away In the end you give in and completely lose yourself in the music
