Musicians Burden

A musician knows, a musician feels

The things that you’re to scared of

But those feeling are almost never heard.

What you never could truly put in words.

Music speaks to the soul

The sadness, the madness, the true love

The things that you knew all along

Are put into feelings in a simple song

But no one knows the burden this causes

The strain on the heart of the one who writes

The pain that they are forced to feel

To make all of your feelings real

So listen to the words in the music

The pain in her voice the heart in her lyrics

Listen to the burden she holds on her shoulders

The ideas no one else could ever hold

The pictures she paints, the things she knows

She feels the feelings you shouldn’t hold

She keeps them close to her heart cause she sees

That she writes the feelings for you and me
