Musings At Midnight

Lay at night terrified

That my heart will burst

Into thousand tiny pieces

With blood oozing out

Couldn’t sleep anymore

Thinking about this

What if it wasn’t able

To bear the pain anymore

Betrayal after betrayal

Couldn’t trust any ore

Stopped getting close

Ended up getting

Giving my whole time

To people who didn’t

Give an ounce of theirs.
