Musty Mustard Me

I remember you

Mustard colored, patterns blurred

There for me

Absorbing tears

A musty smell in later years

I remember you

You held my heavy head all that time

The smell of you was comforting – though musty

Countless tears you contained

In you, I hid my pain

I remember you

You were my only companion

Until my sister threw you away

Forever you will be

Musty Mustard Me
