Mutation

Pointless to write of something not true Not true colors and definitely not you Instinctual action to hide the unsightly Masked in web and locked in lie Kept secret from the prying eye Made to pretend a public false Deep on the surface shallow below No one will ever be allowed to know

I personally feel the piece is incomplete, the title of "mutation" is never addressed. Perhaps you are referring solely to yourself, but this can led the poem to be absorbed into itself. Q.V.
