Mute Mumbles

The eyes are deaf

The ears are deaf

The reasoning is deaf

The intellect is waning

Their ignorance sustaining

Lawlessness and whatever comes with that

We'll prosecute they say

As they leave the door wide open

To falsehood and threats

Come on in

Police are buried

In the lawlessness of the lawless

D.A, Highest Offices of our land

Presenting hope without expectation

And lies for truth

 But this sleuth

Is wise

And so are our youth

But they don't get to vote

Because the lawless

Kills them with drugs

They bring across the border

But the lawless will prosecute

An empty threat

An empty jail

An empty chair

An empty court

An empty seat at the table

Where Daddy or Mommy

Use to sit

But they'll take care

Of us???

When?

Liars cannot tell the truth

And we should not believe

Because

We see

We hear

Our intellect is strong

Our reasoning coming back

Our former ignorance exposed now

And we must make it clear

So the mumblers are muted
