Life is hard when you keep me sane 

You kept me out of trouble and from going insane.

Every time i fell you were always there to catch me ,

You kept me on my toes when i needed a bestie 

You tell me exactly what I need to hear , but rarely what i want 

Even when i didn't want to hear the truth, you never let me give up.

I thank you for being there every step of the way 

Guiding me through this thing called life.

You gave me life and taught me everything that i needed to know .
