My Adventure
I am a thousand miles away from my home town
Never thought that I would get here
I don’t have any friends around
I’m alone
I thought it would be easy to make friends
But I’m too awkward to
I need the confidence that alcohol lends
I’m unknown
The only true friendship I have is my pooch
He doesn’t judge me and we don’t fight
Sometime we even smooch
Am I grown?
This is my adventure
In a different place with no one
I made this indenture
I will thrive
