My Africa: Scarred, but Perfect

Location

Scarred, but Perfect.

Centered in the core of my spirit.
Founded on the labor of great blood and undried tears.
Built upon crude, dark soil, yet deep, rich and flourishing

Broken to make her mediocre
Deceived, to steal her profound culture
Overthrown to make her inferior
Exploited, to steal  her unique esteem

And, my Africa is still enduring...

Entrenched in her sincere culture,
Established in deep wisdom,
Exceptional in every way.
Endearing in every step.

My Africa, ancient, yet modern
My Africa, old, yet youthful
My Africa, scarred, yet perfect

My Africa.....
