My Air

Years submerged within dam walls wove strong. I'm constantly drowning, in my decisions gone wrong. The crushing weight of my mental condensation. Prevents me from ever, escaping my minds subjugation. Seeking lifelines with scissors in hand. I guarantee my continued asphyxiation. Self subversion it seems, my subconscious sole motivation. But even my subconscious battles itself. This would appear to be true. For how else can i explain the path i took, that lead me here, inadvertently, to you. There is no logical explanation for how i ended up here. But unlike the other questions inside, this one i reserve to leave unclear. Grateful made a comeback. As did anticipation. Dare i say joy and happiness, also rejoined the rotation. This unexpected place of wonder has proven itself essential. Already the damage to this dam, fantastic and exponential. I must remain here if i hope to rid this seethe. To have any chance of reaching the surface, and once again being able to breathe. But to ensure i do not once again sink, this dam i must breakthrough. Which has shown an impossible task. Impossible that is, without you.
