My Alabama Perm
Robert P Stevens wrote this poem about BJ Kendrick a couple of days ago and sent it to me. I love it and so does BJs Mom. R.P told me it was mine and to do with it what I wanted. I believe all his friends will love it as well. Just 4 u..
An Alabama Perm
By r.p. Stevens
Have you ever had a friend
Dynamic in all he does
A brother, like no other
Unconditional love
Mins turned to hours
Days turned to years
Nothing like a bama perm
To bring the party near
I remember down ole Lundy
Last dirt road on left
Was a place all friends would go
To party with the best
U might float a keg, or sip a few
Or grill some shrimp k Bob
Playing games of asshole
Hell we drank a lot.
Drinking games, spades
Everyone got there turn
To sit and enjoy THE COMPANY
Of The Alabama Perm
A friend indeed, a chef
A bartender too
I can picture him in the kitchen
Making poppers and mushrooms.
Bond fires, birthday's,
Wearing costumes on Halloween
Football games , were never lame
Cause bama was his team.
A father to his kids
A mentor to those that knew him
I wish I could rewind time
And ask him what he's doing
Thank you my friend
the lessons taught and learned
I miss you and I love you
My ALABAMA PERM..
R.I.P... BJ ..BIG PERM
For you..I hope you like
