My Angel

You helped pave the path of my destiny,

More importantly,

You watched me follow that path and assist when I went astray.

You were the building blocks of who I am,

Of my entire legacy...

But, when I thought you left me by myself,

I thought, I was alone

When I thought I saw you fall,

I thought, so would I…

But even though I couldn’t see you

You were still there…

Still watching,

Watching me learn from mistakes,

Watching me think for myself,

Watching me grow into the woman you knew I would be…

Still assisting,

While I needed help,

While I was blinded by others,

While I felt alone…

Still supporting my entire being...

Through these four years, I learned something that can’t be taught,

Can’t be told,

Can’t be explained,

But has to be experienced…

You were, are, and always will be my guardian angel.
