my angel

My Angel

I looked for someone who could save me

There you were.

Someone who could capture my soul and love me

There you were.

All alone in the terrifying abyss we know as the world

There you were.

I saw your face scars of hardships from the past overcome

I found you.

Through your eyes I saw all you are and all you can be

I found you.

Under the tiny muscular exterior, is a loving, warm hearted man

I found you.

I dream of you at night and cry for you today

I need you.

My heart aches for all relationships that fear of love that fades

I need you.

I am looking for a lover and a best friend to receive my all

I need you.

I wake up to your face and thank god I am alive

I dream.

My Alina Samantha calls for her daddy to kiss her good night to be tucked in

I dream.

Watching my children grow leaving me to spread their wings at their first day of school

I dream.

Your laugh, your smile, you handsome features

I’m in love.

Your devotion, your kindness, your full of life

I’m in love.

Your kiss, your embrace, your appreciation for simplicity

I’m in love.

God has given me one of the greatest gifts … love.
