My Anxious Mind
Imagine you're drowning,
and running out of air.
You feel the burning in your lungs,
the tightness in your chest;
like someone is pulling a corset tighter and tighter.
Then realizing you're about to die,
you try to cry out
but the pain is too much.
So you take one last look
at the life you loved to much,
as you slowly fade away.
