MY APOLOGY

Yes, of a truth We met as youths With a sincere drive Together in life to live Thus, onward and forward Went our steps in the match Step by step toward A lifetime catch Of dreams and goals That stirred our souls Gladly so it seem We are one as a team As hearts were studied To bury the unburied What manhood and womanhood That beheld our faces Gladly we longed for its good Thus, pace by pace Spirits were rising high With a relief of sigh Kins of two groups Were made to be in the loop Thus, hearts were glad How could any be sad Even so you were made known and shown As minds were seemed to be bare Dancing to a beautiful tone That was loud and glare But striking enough Something seem to be rough It is hard for me to say Anywhere, any day But it has left me sad And I have put off the clad It may be within range and not strange But my heart is broken Not a little for a change Thus, I have spoken To bear my mind Though, seems, I am blind My hope is shattered My health is battered And I long to lie alone Before His throne I have caused worry and feel sorry I long for pardon from all Who may hear this story And feel moody, even dull Yes, it may But help me pray © Munemune Ebitimi Arthur - 010506
