My Army Man
We all have talked bout those army men.
They all look so good in uniform.
We might not believe this war is right.
But they are fighting for something more.
They leave their homes to keep yours safe.
When they leave they loose all sense of identity.
These men become a squad of one.
Watching their brothers fall, loosing all serentity.
You start thinking of being alone.
The mind starts wondering when you'll be home.
Tossing and turning all night long.
Trying to sleep through the roar of bombs.
Snapped back to reality in a blink.
Was this just a one time thing?
Thoughts constantly running through your brain.
Eyes open, dead brothers faces, flashing.
One way out to make me safe.
Repeating words heard of "hero" and "be brave".
I am not a solider anymore.
My last duty is to myself, BANG!
