My Assigned Human
It's real when the impossible becomes a reality.
For me, that impossibility was loving someone before you met them.
I didn't know who she was yet. I knew she existed.
She was out there somewhere.
Back then, I was stupid.
Wrong people. Wrong places. Wrong decisions. Wrong.
"What if she could see you now? What would she think?"
A figurative woman was now guiding my conscience.
"I will better myself so that when I find her, I will be more acceptable of a person."
And so I stayed true to my word.
I fixed myself for her, a woman I had not yet met.
Why?
Because I loved her.
Why?
Because she helped me better myself.
A string of questions and answers that could speak and respond for eternity.
