MY AWAKING HOURS
My awaking hours
My awaking hours are lost in you
the twenty millions billions of
stars shining on high all over the sky
The moon holding on to every secret
that was ever made,
The years has been passing like clock
work, but my heart holds on to the
memories of you,
I hold on to the picture of you
You was only five when you was buried
It was so hard for me to ever truly say goodbye,
This pain had almost taken me with you
but life pulled me back to keep on living
for the world to know about you,
So I put you in the sky where the stars
and the moon can shine upon you,
Why I have been trying to pull the stake
out of my heart,
Every night I look out my window just
to see your beauty shine back at me
I start talking to the moon all about you,
I want to say how much I miss you
I love you so much my grandson
My beautiful angel of this grandmas life
Just know I will never say goodbye ,
My waking hours wishing I could see you
again oh how my emotions my my heart tremble
my mind hearing you calling my name
oh hear comes the rain.
