My Awesome Getaway

Each week I read a book or two,

Truth is all romance and Mystery too.

I may read all day and pay for each page,

But only if its a book that just cant wait.

My only date is the man on the hardcover,

Waiting to be discovered.

I tell myself a chapter or two,

But just cant wait for the ending soon.

My room may look like a zoo and I act like I have no clue.

My priorities changed from friends to pretend,

But who even cares, when its a fresh book in my hands.

So lets not pretend, cause us book lovers understand.

That everything around is awesome,

With just a book in our hands.
