My Battle

The end Draws closer. Try to rewind But it escapes me. Can't overcome it Thoughts are overwhelming. It builds like stairs Every step has been made. You can't turn around On a one way street While being followed. These nightmares of ideas. Keep on writing. Like a chapter that never ends It gets tiring. Exhausted. I'm letting go. Of what was never mine. What people fight for And try to hold on to I don't want anymore. I'm sure this is news Welcome to my ordeal. This is my battle It's been raging for too long. You will never understand why So please, don't try on my shoes. This is my battle And I will overcome it.
