MY BATTLE

I am a fighter

I look at the light and avoid the darkness

I am misunderstood but I keep my head up

My tears and scars are real you know

I am sick but no one understands

My mind doesn’t work how it should

I don’t have diabetes but I do have a mental illness

Mental illness is real

I will continue to fight my own battles because

I am strong

I AM A FIGHTER.
