My Beautiful Family
I don't have someone to call my significant other,
I have a healthy relationship with my little sister and my mother.
My sister is only an eighteen-month-old little baby,
She follows me around like crazy.
An unconditional love that siblings share,
She misses me when I am not there.
A huge smile and hug when I walk in the door,
She is like a tornado, everything is on the floor.
She understands when I say No,
She doesn't understand back to school I go.
She is a little fireball of a crazy girl,
Through it all she is a big piece of my world.
Try to hurt her and I would hunt someone down,
This big brother is not fooling around.
Though I wish she would have come out being ten,
I have loved her from the beginning until the end.
My mom has taught me a lot about living,
How to open your heart and the art of giving.
Mom and I have learned to grow together,
She supports me and wants me to be better.
She is not perfect by any means,
Her heart in the right place fighting for my dreams.
We have had our up's and down's,
We have always turned it around.
As much as I am her rock, She is mine
We have been through the best and worst of times.
By my side she will always stay,
Because I Love you each and every day.
There will be times that seem hard to get through,
Because they love me it will be easy to do.
Support, comfort, kindness, and care,
Life is good knowing that will always be there.
