My Beginning, My End

You were there
My beginning
You helped chase the shadows
Trust
I gave it to you willingly
I give it you still
I will never regret it
You showed me power
A love I had never seen
Undying
I need you always
You stole my heart
Your laughter hard to come by
Your eyes
Dancing
Your voice pulls me from my pain
You ground me
Then you were gone
Darkness consumed my mind
Lost
My heart cried out for the light
You are my light
And you returned
Light poured into my heart
Your light sealed the cracks
Stay
Don't give up on me
Don't leave me in darkness
You sing that song
It plays over in my mind
Your light warms me once more
I love you
I love you
I love you
