My Best

Things will be changing

That's what you say

Your anger fills the room

A storm engulfing us both

Don't you realize it already has?

You see me differently now,

No longer your golden girl

I'm just a girl

Can't you see?

I'm trying my best

I'm so very sorry

If my best

Isn't enough for you
