My Best Friend?

We've been best friends
since the beginning,
But now this is the end
I'm saying goodbye to living.

I'm losing my mind
because of you,
I'm breaking the bind
that bonds us two.

You asked, “You and me?”
and I said yes,
The way it was suppose to be
is now a big mess.

Thanks to you
I can never be whole,
Because of you
I will forever have an empty hole.

Since the beginning
we've been best friends,
I'm saying goodbye to living
for this is my end.

I'm currently attending community college but in my free time I write. I'm only 4"9 but I've got a big heart. I was in band and play flute and I absolutely love dogs. I'm always coming up with a new idea for a poem and it is now the way I express myself. Nowadays I submit my poems for contest before publishing them here.
