My Best Friend

Bright Suns and sandy beaches

Held captive by the wave that surround me.

Not  a building in sight or roads for miles

And I question where I'd go to pee.

This seems very strange, quite odd I might add

The sand smoothed between my feet.

Conflicted with thoughts of panic and doubt

While relaxing under the heat.

Thank the Stars I have you

My one and only partner in crime.

The only person who understands me

Just by looking in my eyes.

We've kept promises and held secrets

And mended even the worst of fights.

Through the laughs and tears, You are my Best Friend

And we couldn't be more tight!
