My Best Isn't Enough

When I feel down and out and cannot be,

When I want to leave all the love behind,

I can trust that God will indeed guide me

Looking elsewhere, this is ain't found in mankind!

The right kind of guidance lasts a lifetime

It's the budding, blooming romance that thrives

In each of us. Is having fear a crime?

Only when it chokes our very lives.

But is life all about facing your fears,

Or does it go much, much deeper than that?

The events of all your childhood years

Don't have to dictate where you can be at.

Don't take life for granted or rush right through it;

Be wise, and you won't have to undo it.
