My Bestfriend

He was my best friend, Listened to my sorrows, tears, and fears, Talked and supported me through all six years, Always there for support, Like a brother who loved me with all his heart It was just like any ordinary day, Although I was sick in bed, Sleeping all the time away, When a call broke my heart, Tearing my whole world apart A car accident, Going too fast around a curve, Into an entrapping swamp he swerved, Only a mere nineteen years old, Gone far too young My only comfort in this: That he was a man who loved God so much, I know he is watching from above, Still sending me all his love, Home in Heaven I know I will see him again someday, At the end of my time here, Thank you for guiding me from above, I return all your love, Never ever will you be forgotten
