My Biggest Supporter

Sun is down, freezing cold

Unhappy and distraught, you always brought me back to the warm safehaven

Placing me by the tepid fire I felt the embrace and help I so desperately needed

Pleasant the feeling is to have you always by my side guiding me though the torrent of surf we call life

Ongoing you have proved to be there for me and have taught me how to thrive and ride the wave

Related by blood creates the bond that I so desperately need to learn

Thank you, my biggest supporter, my father
