My Bittersweet Obsession

My words are inked blue

While yours are of every hue

This is my piece of soul ink

Unto the paper it is spilled

At first his mind wandered

Wandered through the waves barely touching the surface

But in the end his heart sank to the bottom

No soul can swim deep enough to reach it

DEEP

You think I have problems due to my lack of speech

I know you have problems due to my lack of speech

YOU ARE MY FAVORITE SONG

Everyone has that song

That one song that

Hold all the meaning

That tells their story

Even if in some small insignificant way

The song that make them

Laugh

Cry

And grin like an idiot

But for me that song isn’t a song at all

For me it is the sound of your voice

I see things in colors

Blue

Green

Red

Yellow

Orange

White

Black

But this this I painted for you

With different shades of blue

Because everyone's a little blue

Your shades there just a little darker

The deepest thoughts come moments before

Slumber

Slowly forgotten and replaced with nightmares and false realities

Dark blue sweater

Light blue eyes

Ice blue lips

Heart pale blue

You chuckled

And I realised

You were different the second the smile faltered on your lips

Quickly disappeared

Love was once the reason for my every breath

Then it was the bridge to my death

But to a shattered boy such as me

It was the brightest light I ever saw

My mind is corrupted

Keep those smiles of your to yourself

To only yourself

Otherwise i'll want more

Need more

My mind is plagued

So never let these hands of mine

Touch yours again

If you do

I won’t be able to draw a line

Cold hands are what held you

They were mine

Frostbitten and blue

Your hands were fragile

Yet they still hold mine

All our little while

Our hand

Hot and cold

But that never mattered did it

Your held mine

And my frigid soul

His breath was laced with desperation

And with that faint chemical taste

You knew he’d lost his way

I looked at the watch

It read 9:00pm

You said you’d be here a 2:00pm

Yet here I wait

11:43, 17 minutes to midnight

And you’re still nowhere to be seen

It all feels the same but I’m shivering

And you never came

Your words beg to differ

But they spout lies

They spout lies

Through your transparent eyes

You heart shows

Dye the roses a madder red with the frivolous ink these words have spilled

I breathe in my last breath of unsaid air as the last petal falls

I slipped the bullet in the chamber

Right that was true

Pulled the so tightly the metal trigger

Right that was you

Feel the air leave you as you breathe out

I circulates once again taking a different route

As it forgets you and enters another mouth
