My Black is Beautiful

             My Black is Beautiful

My Black is Beautiful.
My Black is Unique.
My Black is Different.
The melanin in my skin makes me who I am.
My Black is Beautiful.
Because of the color of my skin I walk with my head held high. Why? You say. because My Black is Beautiful .
They try and tell me I ain't nothin and ain't eva gon' be nothin because of the color of my skin .
I walk away with a smile on my face and simply say My Black is Beautiful.
My Black is beautiful.
My Black is Unique.
My Black is Different.
